Mrs. Chapdelaine says...
Due to the heat the caterpillars are growing very quickly. Some of the caterpillars are moving their way to the top of the habitat. They are getting ready to use the silk they are making. Ask your children what the caterpillars use the silk for? This may be a busy/changing week for the caterpillars. Tune in for more news tomorrow.

Chritopher came home talking about how BIG the caterpillers are getting! Also he was talking about the mallow balls very interesting. How much more time until the caterpillers are in their cocoons? Is cocoon the correct term for butterflys? Enjoy! : )
ReplyDeleteI am also woundering how many body parts are in a full grown caterpiller, Bradley? by Mathew
ReplyDeleteHello 2F! I am so excited to watch the caterpillars in your room go through all of their changes! They are already getting so big! I was wondering why there are pieces of the caterpillars at the bottom of the cups? Have fun observing and learning!
